How is the Serum different from Moisturiser?

Serums are thinner and lighter than moisturizers and contain active ingredients that penetrate as deeply as possible into your skin to help repair or protect the skin. A moisturizer on the other hand has larger molecules than a serum and does not penetrate the skin as deeply as a serum do. They are thicker and creamier than serums and they are meant to hydrate the skin and prevent water loss.
